Dr. Yogesh Kumar is the Senior Bioinformatics Research Scientist of the Center for Applied Bioinformatics at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He has more than 12 years of extensive experience while working on NGS data for a wide variety of multi-omics projects in organizations of great repute across the globe. He is a multi-disciplinary researcher with good hands-on experience onto vast range of data analysis & integration techniques with a proven track record of contributing successfully to pivotal research on diseases such as Cancer, Asthma, Aging, Neurological Disorders and Developmental Biology.

Dr. Yogesh Kumar contributions to the team include developing & maintaining various workflow pipelines and perform processing and analysis of multi-omics data and its further integration to support clinical findings and meaningful interpretations benefitting the ongoing Cancer research.

Kumar has extensive exprience to analyze a wide variety of NGS Data: RNA-seq., CHIP-seq. ATAC-seq., methy-seq, m5C and m6A modifications epitranscriptomics analysis (RNA methylation), single cell RNASeq, WGS, WGBS, WES, Metagenomics 16S Analysis. Expertise to deal long read ONT and PacBio data analysis.
